How much does it cost to study law in Taiwan?

Tuition for international students runs from TWD 101,000 to TWD 124,000 a year, and living costs from TWD 16,500 a month. With the visa fee, a first year starts at about EUR 8,300. Fees for law can be higher than the average; check the course page.

Can I work while I study in Taiwan?

Yes, up to 20 hours a week during term on a student visa, and more in the holidays where the rules allow.

Can I stay and work in Taiwan after I graduate?

Yes: Two-year extension of stay gives you 2 years.

Will my law degree from Taiwan let me work at home?

Law is a regulated profession in most countries. Before you apply, check with the professional body in the country where you want to work that it recognises this degree.
