Before you decide
Can we pay to improve what the register says about us?
No, and nobody can. Register status is read from the government’s own published editions and there is nowhere in our system for an account to write it. A featured page that is not on the latest edition still says so, in amber, at the top of its own page. That is the only reason students believe anything on this site.
Why are we listed at all, without being asked?
We publish factual information about educational institutions from open-licensed public sources — name, country, kind, website and, where a government publishes one, standing on the official register. We publish no logo, no photograph and no individual’s contact details unless you add them yourself. If you would rather not appear, tell us and we will remove you.
What happens if we stop paying?
The page drops back to the free claimed listing at the end of the year. Nothing is deleted, your account keeps working, and your register mark is untouched. We do not chase you and we do not hold your page hostage.
Who actually reads these pages?
We will tell you the truth rather than a number we cannot evidence: the portal is new and the traffic is small. What it has that others do not is the register check, which is why we think it will grow. If you want figures before committing, ask and we will send you what the analytics actually say.
Do you take commission on students who enrol?
No. We are not an agent and we do not place students. The fee is a listing fee, once a year, and that is the whole relationship.
