These apply to every international student in Thailand, including at University of Central Thailand. Each figure shows where it came from and when we last checked it.

Stay after you graduate
For bachelor's degrees and above. The year is for job-seeking or travel; you need a separate work visa and work permit to take a job.

Deadlines and intakes
Thai universities set their own admission rounds, and many run several a year. Chulalongkorn University's international undergraduate programmes for the 2026 academic year, for example, ran an early admission round followed by an online application window of 9-31 March 2026 (dates revised after flooding in southern Thailand).
Work backwards: admission letter first, then the e-Visa application at least 15-30 working days before travel depending on the embassy, then arrival with time to arrange your extension of stay before the first 90 days run out.
Language you need
International programmes teach in English. Entry requirements, usually IELTS or TOEFL scores, are set by each university and programme, so check yours.
Thai-taught programmes expect a high level of Thai. Outside campus, immigration offices, landlords, clinics and most jobs work in Thai, and many universities offer Thai language courses for international students. Even basic Thai makes 90-day reports and extensions far easier.
Free for students
Tell us what you want to study. Your request goes to the admissions team or to an adviser who works with them will contact you by email to help with your application. It costs you nothing.
Paying for it
Government schemes for international students coming to Thailand. Each one sets its own rules on nationality and level.
Student reviews: none yet for University of Central Thailand. If you study or studied here, yours would be the first.
Every reviewer confirms their email address with a one-time link, and a person at Studies Multiverse reads each review before it appears. We publish good and bad reviews on the same terms, never edit them, never pay for them, and an institution cannot remove a review by paying us. Reviews sent from the institution’s own email domain are not accepted. Institutions can reply below a review. See our terms.
Get in touch
Studies Multiverse passes your question to the admissions office by email, and they reply to you directly. We do not sell your details to anyone.
