How to apply in Spain

The same rules for every institution in Spain; Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience's own programme pages govern the exact dates and scores. Guide checked 24 Sep 2026.

Deadlines and intakes

Main intake September/October, with a smaller January/February start at some private universities.

For non-EU undergraduates the gateway is UNEDasiss, which converts your school-leaving qualification into something Spanish universities can read, calculates an admission mark, and runs the PCE subject exams that raise it for competitive degrees.

Language you need

English-taught provision is real but thin compared with the Netherlands or the Nordics, and concentrated at master's level and in private universities. English-taught bachelor's degrees are comparatively rare in the public system, and often come as bilingual tracks where some modules remain in Spanish.

Typical entry requirements for English-taught programmes are IELTS 6.0-6.5 or TOEFL iBT 79-90, with business and law often asking 7.0. For Spanish-taught degrees you will normally need DELE or SIELE at B2, with medicine, law, journalism and translation often asking C1.

Which ones can I apply for?

Student reviews: none yet for Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience. If you study or studied here, yours would be the first.

How we check reviews

Every reviewer confirms their email address with a one-time link, and a person at Studies Multiverse reads each review before it appears. We publish good and bad reviews on the same terms, never edit them, never pay for them, and an institution cannot remove a review by paying us. Reviews sent from the institution’s own email domain are not accepted. Institutions can reply below a review. See our terms.
