Studying in Georgia
These apply to every international student in Georgia, including at Tbilisi Institute of Asia and Africa. Each figure shows where it came from and when we last checked it.
Money you must show

Stay after you graduate

The same rules for every institution in Georgia; Tbilisi Institute of Asia and Africa's own programme pages govern the exact dates and scores. Guide checked 24 Sep 2026.
Deadlines and intakes
The main intake is in autumn (September); some universities also admit in spring. Check your university's calendar. Allow for three processes in sequence:
1. University admission and the university's consent letter 2. NCEQE and Ministry procedure for admission without national exams: one month standard, 15 business days fast track 3. Entry visa from a consulate, if your nationality needs one
Language you need
English-medium programmes are widely available for international students, notably in medicine. TSMU teaches its international programmes in English, Russian and Georgian.
The language of your degree and the language of your patients are different. Clinical training in Georgian hospitals involves patients who speak Georgian, and sometimes Russian. Ask whether your programme includes Georgian language classes, and take them seriously.
Free for students
Tell us what you want to study. Your request goes to the admissions team or to an adviser who works with them will contact you by email to help with your application. It costs you nothing.
Student reviews: none yet for Tbilisi Institute of Asia and Africa. If you study or studied here, yours would be the first.
Every reviewer confirms their email address with a one-time link, and a person at Studies Multiverse reads each review before it appears. We publish good and bad reviews on the same terms, never edit them, never pay for them, and an institution cannot remove a review by paying us. Reviews sent from the institution’s own email domain are not accepted. Institutions can reply below a review. See our terms.
Get in touch
Studies Multiverse passes your question to the admissions office by email, and they reply to you directly. We do not sell your details to anyone.
