How to apply in Czechia

The same rules for every institution in Czechia; Jan Evangelista Purkyně Military Medical Academy's own programme pages govern the exact dates and scores. Guide checked 24 Sep 2026.

Deadlines and intakes

Deadlines are set by each faculty, often in the spring for a September start, with some English-taught programmes running a second round. Check your programme page.

Recognition of your previous education comes first and takes time. For a master's degree you usually need your bachelor's recognised by a public university (typically 30 days, extendable to 60 days). For a bachelor's degree, your school-leaving certificate generally needs recognition too. Qualifications from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Slovenia can be used directly. Build recognition into your timeline before you think about the visa.

Language you need

Czech is spoken everywhere outside international offices, and daily life, landlords, Ministry of the Interior offices and most part-time jobs run in Czech. English-taught programmes are widely available at master's level and in medicine, engineering and IT; English-taught bachelor's degrees are fewer.

If you are aiming for a free Czech-taught degree, you will need Czech at the level your faculty sets: check the admission conditions. Many students do a one-year preparatory Czech course first; those courses charge fees.

Which ones can I apply for?

Student reviews: none yet for Jan Evangelista Purkyně Military Medical Academy. If you study or studied here, yours would be the first.

How we check reviews

Every reviewer confirms their email address with a one-time link, and a person at Studies Multiverse reads each review before it appears. We publish good and bad reviews on the same terms, never edit them, never pay for them, and an institution cannot remove a review by paying us. Reviews sent from the institution’s own email domain are not accepted. Institutions can reply below a review. See our terms.
