Studying in Bangladesh

The rules and the money, before you apply

These apply to every international student in Bangladesh, including at Asian University of Bangladesh. Each figure shows where it came from and when we last checked it.

How to apply in Bangladesh

The same rules for every institution in Bangladesh; Asian University of Bangladesh's own programme pages govern the exact dates and scores. Guide checked 7 Nov 2026.

Deadlines and intakes

Universities and medical colleges set their own sessions and deadlines, and foreign-student admission usually runs separately from the national admission tests. Apply early: you need the admission letter before the visa, and medical colleges fill their foreign quotas well ahead.

Language you need

University teaching, especially in medicine, engineering and business, is mostly in English. Bengali (Bangla) is the language of daily life; some programmes, and some public-university courses, are taught in Bangla, so confirm the medium of instruction for your course.

How we check reviews

Every reviewer confirms their email address with a one-time link, and a person at Studies Multiverse reads each review before it appears. We publish good and bad reviews on the same terms, never edit them, never pay for them, and an institution cannot remove a review by paying us. Reviews sent from the institution’s own email domain are not accepted. Institutions can reply below a review. See our terms.
