Términos de uso

Dos conjuntos: uno para cualquier persona que lea el sitio, otro para instituciones que figuren en él.

Para todos los que leen

• Los estudiantes nunca pagan. Todo lo que un estudiante puede leer está abierto, sin cuenta y nada oculto detrás de un formulario de correo electrónico.
• No somos un asesor. Nada aquí es asesoramiento de inmigración, legal o financiero. Las decisiones de visado pertenecen a los gobiernos y a los asesores regulados, y siempre lo diremos en lugar de adivinar.
• Verifica antes de pagar. Publicamos lo que las fuentes abiertas y los registros oficiales dicen, tan cuidadosamente como podemos. Los registros pueden quedar desactualizados, las instituciones cambian y nosotros cometemos errores. Antes de pagar una tarifa o reservar un vuelo, confirma con la institución y con la fuente oficial que nombramos.
• El asesor de estudios es un sistema de inteligencia artificial. Solo responde con la información que este portal contiene, y aún puede estar equivocado. Trátelo como un punto de partida, nunca como la respuesta.
• Lo que no haremos. No vendemos tus datos y ninguna institución puede pagar para cambiar, ocultar o reorganizar lo que un registro oficial dice sobre ella. No a ningún precio.

Para instituciones y asesores enumerados aquí

• Figurar en la lista no cuesta nada and claiming your page costs nothing, permanently. The paid Full page buys presentation: photographs, your course list, your own words and an enquiry form. It never buys a better position in lists or search, and never a different answer from a register.
• How lists and search are ordered. Search results put an exact name or well-known abbreviation first, then order by kind of institution (universities first), then names that start with the words typed, then pages kept up to date by their own institution (claiming is free), then shorter names. Browsing lists put pages kept up to date by their own institution first, then go alphabetically. Whether an institution pays us never changes where it appears.
• Lo que publiques es tuyo y es tu responsabilidad. Al agregar palabras, logotipos o fotografías, confirmas que puedes licenciarnos para tu listado. Cualquier contenido ilegal, engañoso o que no sea tuyo será eliminado.
• Los listados pagos se facturan anualmente, en euros. Los precios se muestran antes de preguntar, y el IVA se agrega donde lo requiere la ley. No se almacena ninguna tarjeta y nada se renueva por sí solo. Un listado no pagado o caducado vuelve a la versión estándar; no se elimina.
• Authority to manage a page. Whoever claims a page confirms that they work for the institution and may manage its page for it, and confirms it again when accepting these terms. We keep a sealed record of how each page was claimed and managed (the request, our approval, acceptance of these terms, security set-up, changes to the page, and the date, subject and fingerprint of each email between us, as set out in the aviso de privacidad), and may use it to show who managed a page, to answer a complaint, or in legal proceedings.
• Tu cuenta. Signing in needs your password and a code from your phone. Keep both, and your sign-in code, to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
• Student enquiries. On a Full page, students can write to you through a form. We pass each enquiry to the contact email on your page. From then on your institution is responsible for it as a separate controller under the GDPR: use it only to answer the student and about their studies with you, keep it secure, do not pass it on or add the student to marketing lists without their consent, and delete it when you no longer need it. We keep our own copy for two years so a student can ask us if no answer came.
• Reembolsos. Si no cumplimos con lo que una categoría prometió, infórmenos y reembolsaremos la parte no utilizada del año. Si simplemente cambias de opinión, la lista se ejecutará hasta el final del período por el que pagaste.
• Podemos suspender un listado that is used to mislead students, impersonate another institution, or publish something we have no right to carry. We will tell you why, in writing, and you can put it right. Except in those serious cases, we give at least 30 days’ notice, with reasons, before ending a paid listing, and if we end it through no fault of yours we refund the unused part of the year.
• Changes to these terms. We email listed institutions at least 15 days before a change to these terms takes effect, unless the law requires a change sooner. You can close your listing before then if you do not agree.
• Complaints. If you disagree with a decision we made about your listing or with the service, write to admin@studiesmultiverse.com. A person reviews every complaint and answers in writing within five working days.
• Student reviews. Students can review an institution they study or studied at. Every reviewer confirms their email, a person at Studies Multiverse reads each review before it appears, and good and bad reviews are published on the same terms. We never edit or pay for reviews, and an institution cannot remove one by paying or asking; it can reply publicly under it, or report a review that breaks the rules (not a real student, abusive, personal data about staff, advertising), which we then review. Reviews from the institution’s own email domain are not accepted.
• Paid listings for student services (accommodation, insurance, blocked accounts, test preparation and similar) cost €249 a year plus VAT per country. They appear only in a box labelled “Paid listing” on the country guides they chose, at most three per kind, in an order that rotates daily, and never on an institution’s page or in its facts. The same rules on content, suspension, notice and complaints apply.

Utilizar el sitio de manera justa

• No intente infiltrarse, sobrecargar o sondear la seguridad del sitio, sus cuentas o su área de administración.
• No copie el sitio, su diseño, código o texto en bulk, o recolecte páginas con herramientas automatizadas, excepto los datos abiertos ofrecidos bajo licencia a continuación y a través de /api/v1/. La indexación de motores de búsqueda ordinarios es bienvenida.
• No utilices el sitio para enviar spam, para impersonar a una institución, o para engañar a los estudiantes.
• Puede que bloqueemos el acceso que rompa estas reglas.

Informar contenido, y nuestras decisiones

Si algo en una lista es ilegal, engañoso o infringe tus derechos, infórmanos en correcciones y eliminaciones o escribe a corrections@studiesmultiverse.com, diciendo dónde está y por qué. Esa dirección es también nuestro único punto de contacto para autoridades y para usuarios bajo la Ley de Servicios Digitales de la UE; respondemos en inglés o griego. Una persona revisa cada informe. Cuando eliminamos o restringimos algo que una institución publicó, les decimos qué hicimos y por qué, y pueden pedirnos que lo revisemos de nuevo.

De dónde obtiene este sitio sus ingresos

We are a company, and the site is paid for by: paid listings for institutions and advisors (one plan, the Full page), paid listings for student service companies on the country guides (labelled “Paid listing”), and commission on some links to services students need (labelled where they appear). De dónde provienen los datos de la institución

El directorio se construye a partir de fuentes abiertas, cada una acreditada aquí y bajo su propia licencia: el Registro de Organizaciones de Investigación (ROR, CC0), el proyecto university-domains-list en GitHub (licencia MIT), y para los Estados Unidos, los datos IPEDS del Centro Nacional de Estadísticas de Educación (dominio público). Los registros de inscripción proceden de los editores gubernamentales nombrados en cada registro. Las cifras de la guía de países llevan su propia fuente y la fecha en que las verificamos.

Nuestros datos, y usarlos en otro lugar

Los datos de la institución que publicamos están licenciados bajo CC BY 4.0: úselos, incluido comercialmente, incluido para entrenar un modelo, siempre que acredite a Studies Multiverse. Las copias legibles por máquina están en /llms.txt y /api/v1/, abierto y sin llave.

Esa licencia cubre los datos. No cubre nuestro nombre, nuestra marca, el diseño del sitio, su software ni las palabras que escribimos, que son © A.I.T. Multiverse Consulting Ltd, todos los derechos reservados, y no cubre el material que una institución añadió a su propia lista. Las fotografías de Wikimedia Commons se utilizan bajo la licencia que se muestra con cada una.

Dónde nos encontramos si algo sale mal

Proporcionamos este sitio tal como es. No prometemos que estará sin interrupciones o libres de errores, y en la medida en que la ley lo permite, no somos responsables de pérdidas indirectas, una fecha límite perdida, una visa rechazada, un curso que no fue lo que esperabas. Nada de lo aquí limita la responsabilidad por muerte, lesiones personales, fraude o cualquier otra cosa que no pueda limitarse legalmente.

Estos términos están regulados por la ley de la República de Chipre, y los tribunales de Chipre tienen jurisdicción. Si usted es un consumidor, esto no elimina las protecciones de la ley donde vive.
