How much does it cost to study law in Italy?

Tuition for international students runs from EUR 300 to EUR 3,000 a year, and living costs from EUR 700 a month. With the visa fee, a first year starts at about EUR 8,800. Fees for law can be higher than the average; check the course page.

Can I work while I study in Italy?

Yes, up to 20 hours a week during term on a student visa, and more in the holidays where the rules allow.

Can I stay and work in Italy after I graduate?

There is no dedicated post-study work route; you would need a job offer and a work permit.

Will my law degree from Italy let me work at home?

Law is a regulated profession in most countries. Before you apply, check with the professional body in the country where you want to work that it recognises this degree.
