These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Studies Multiverse (“we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your access to and use of studiesmultiverse.com and any related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Studies Multiverse is an independent, free, editorial directory that publishes factual information about universities, colleges, schools and study-related resources worldwide. We are not a university, placement agent, recruitment agency, visa consultant, loan provider, or government body. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any listed institution unless the institution has formally claimed its listing and is marked “Verified by institution”.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:
robots.txt, except for search-engine indexing;Institution records are built from openly licensed or publicly available data (Wikidata, ROR, UNESCO WHED, public national registries, and institutions’ own published information). While we take care to keep the directory accurate and up to date, we provide the information “as is” and make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, currency or non-infringement. Tuition fees, program availability, accreditation status, admission requirements, contact details and rankings change frequently — always verify information directly with the institution before making any decision.
A listing on Studies Multiverse is not an endorsement or recommendation of the listed institution, nor a representation about its quality, legal status or accreditation. We do not act as the institution’s agent and do not facilitate admissions, payments, or visas on its behalf.
Content on the Service is for general informational purposes only and is not professional advice of any kind. You should consult a qualified advisor (education counselor, immigration lawyer, licensed financial advisor, etc.) for decisions that affect your education, visa, career or finances.
Institutions may claim, correct, update or request removal of their listing free of charge. See our DMCA & Content Removal Policy and Corrections Policy. We act on valid requests promptly.
If you submit content to the Service (for example through a contact form, a correction request, a review, or a claimed-listing update), you represent that you own or have the right to submit that content, and you grant Studies Multiverse a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, adapt and display the content solely as necessary to operate, promote and improve the Service. You can ask us to remove your submitted content at any time by contacting admin@aitmultiverse.com.
The Service’s original editorial content, design, logos and software are owned by Studies Multiverse or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Institution names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used descriptively to identify the institution, under nominative fair-use principles. Data originating from open-license sources (e.g. Wikidata CC0, ROR CC0) remains under its original license. See Methodology for details.
The Service contains links to third-party websites (for example institution homepages, admissions pages, scholarship pages). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of those sites is at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STUDIES MULTIVERSE, ITS OWNERS, STAFF AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW (SUCH AS LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE).
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Studies Multiverse and its staff from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party right.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be announced on this page and the “Last updated” date revised. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 18) will survive.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
The courts of the Republic of Cyprus shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that nothing in this clause limits a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in the country of their habitual residence where mandatory consumer-protection law (including Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 on jurisdiction) so provides.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also access the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to, and do not currently commit to, participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any policies referenced herein, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
