Il visto
VLS-TS étudiant, un visto di lunga durata che serve come permesso di soggiorno, rilasciato per quattro mesi a un anno. Nessuna domanda di permesso di soggiorno separata nel primo anno.
Études en France (EEF) è obbligatorio per gli studenti residenti in circa 73-75 paesi designati. Combina la domanda accademica, la verifica linguistica e un colloquio obbligatorio con Campus France, e alimenta la nomina consolare.

- La tassa di procedura EEF è separata e fissata per paese, per l'India è di INR 20.000 dal 1 agosto 2026
- I soldi: 877,50 € al mese. Questo è aumentato da 615 € il 1 agosto 2026, un aumento del 43%. Molte pagine del Campus France per paese continuano a visualizzare 615 €. Chiunque si affidi alla vecchia cifra sarà respinto. Il requisito è esonerato se hai superato un concours presso un'istituzione con contratto di Stato.
Validazione all'arrivo. Devi convalidare il VLS-TS online entro tre mesi dall'arrivo, e la tassa è di €100, raddoppiata da €50 il 1° maggio 2026. La convalida è ciò che rende il tuo soggiorno legale e ti permette di rientrare oltre il confine Schengen. Mancare la finestra di tre mesi è un problema grave.
Rinnovamento, richiesta tra quattro e due mesi prima della scadenza. Le tasse sono aumentate anche il 1° maggio 2026: €150 prima emissione, €100 rinnovo.
Le decisioni consolari di solito richiedono due a quattro settimane dopo l'appuntamento, ma la procedura EEF prima di esso dura mesi. Inizia sei a nove mesi prima del tuo intake.
