Das Visum
Du benötigst ein nationales Visum der Kategorie D für das Studium, das bei der Ankunft in eine Aufenthaltserlaubnis nach §16b des Aufenthaltsgesetzes umgewandelt wird. Die Gebühr beträgt 75 €.
Das Geld. Sie müssen 11.904 € für ein Jahr in einem gesperrten Konto nachweisen und 992 € pro Monat freigeben. Dieser Betrag ist an den BAföG-Höchstsatz gekoppelt. Er stieg am 1. Januar 2025 auf 992 €/Monat und hat sich seitdem nicht geändert. Ein Stipendienbestätigung oder eine formelle Verpflichtungserklärung eines Sponsors in Deutschland kann als Ersatz dienen.
Wenn Sie sich für ein Visum zur Suche nach einem Studienplatz bewerben, bevor Sie einen Zulassungsbrief haben, ist der Betrag höher: 1.091 € pro Monat
Die eigentliche Einschränkung ist nicht die Entscheidung, sondern die Terminvergabe. Das Visum selbst dauert etwa vier Wochen bis zwei Monate. Die Terminvergabe dauert viel länger: die deutsche Botschaft in Dhaka gibt öffentlich Wartezeiten von über 27 Monaten für Nicht-Stipendiaten bekannt. Indien, Pakistan und Nigeria haben ihre eigenen langen Warteschlangen. Planen Sie mindestens drei bis sechs Monate von der Zulassung bis zum Visum in der Hand, und viel mehr in einem überfüllten Land.
Bewerber aus Indien, China und Vietnam müssen ein APS-Zertifikat zur Überprüfung ihrer akademischen Dokumente vor der Buchung eines Visumtermins erhalten. Lassen Sie sich vier bis acht Wochen Zeit dafür.
