UK student sponsor register: what changed

The UK register of licensed student sponsors is republished every weekday. Below is every difference we have recorded between one edition and the next, newest first, each one carrying the publication date of both files and a link to each.

This exists because nobody else keeps it. The Home Office publishes the current list and replaces it; yesterday’s file is gone. Whether an institution was listed last month, whether it carried an immigration compliance entry in March, whether it moved from probationary to track record - all of that is public on the day, and unrecoverable a day later.

How to read an entry

• Newly listed - the institution was not in the previous edition and is in this one. It may be a new licence, a renamed institution, or a correction. The register does not say.
• No longer listed - the institution was in the previous edition and is not in this one. This is not a statement that its licence was revoked. A revocation, a suspension, a voluntary surrender, a merger and a change of registered name all look exactly the same here.
• Changed - a value moved: a status, an immigration compliance entry, a sponsor type, or a town. Both values are shown, with the edition each came from.

Every entry links to the two source files it came from, so you never have to take our word for any of it.
