How StudiesMultiverse makes money, and what that means for you.
StudiesMultiverse is a free resource. To keep it that way, we earn revenue in two ways, both disclosed here in line with FTC guidance and EU consumer law.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, request a quote, or sign up for a service, we may receive a commission, at no additional cost to you. This may include links to language-test preparation, student insurance and travel cover, international money transfer services, student accommodation platforms, and book or equipment retailers.
Our editorial independence comes first. We choose what to recommend based on research and value to the reader. A partner paying a commission does not buy a better review, a higher ranking, or coverage we do not believe in. No university, government body, or funding organisation pays us to appear in our comparisons or to be ranked more favourably.
Advertising
We display ads from third-party networks, including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can manage your consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Advertisers have no input into our editorial content, and ad placement never influences what we research or how we rank it.
How our data is produced
Our comparison tables are compiled from primary sources, national immigration authorities, university fee schedules, funding bodies and official statistics offices, and each figure is attributed to the source it came from. Where we could not verify a figure, we say so rather than filling the gap. See our editorial policy for how we research and correct.
No professional advice
Our content is for general information only and is not immigration, legal, financial or admissions advice. Visa rules, tuition fees, stipend rates and funding conditions change frequently and vary by individual circumstance. Always confirm current requirements with the relevant embassy, university or funding body, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate, before making a decision that affects your studies, your finances or your right to enter or remain in a country.

How to check this, and anyone else
Disclosure is only useful if you know what to do with it. We have published the test we apply to ourselves as a tool you can apply to any source, including this one: the independence test. The financing it is built on, read at the primary legal sources and dated, is in how international student recruitment is financed.
